What is TITANIUM

Titanium is a chemical element with the symbol Ti and atomic number 22. It has a low density and is a strong, lustrous, corrosion-resistant (including sea water, aqua regia and chlorine) transition metal with a silver color.

It can be alloyed with iron, aluminum, vanadium, molybdenum, among other elements, to produce strong lightweight alloys for aerospace (jet engines, missiles, and spacecraft), military, industrial process (chemicals and petro-chemicals, desalination plants, pulp, and paper), automotive, agri-food, medical prostheses, orthopedic implants, dental and endodontic instruments and files, dental implants, sporting goods, jewelry, mobile, and other applications.

There some Titanium Products are as follows -

1. Plates & sheets- Huaheng Titanium is recognised an expert in Sheet and Plate production within China and globally. Plates finds usage as an alloying element in steel making. These are used for reducing grain size and also works as deoxidizer that supports reduction in carbon content as present in steel.

2. Ttubes - Tubes are preferred because the metal is stronger than steel and aluminum but very light in weight.For high quality tubing products, it's often a better substance to use than competing materials like stainless steels or super alloys.

3. Pipes - Manufactured using graded material, these possess excellent resistance towards chemical attack and are known for their high strength and durability. Highly reliable, these pipes are widely demanded in varied industries.

4. Rrods - Titanium connecting rods combine the weight saving strength of titanium with the reliability normally associated with a steel rod design typically lighter than the steel equivalent.

Because of its strength, unique density and corrosion resistance, titanium has found applications in many industries. It is easily worked. Combine that with its strength, stiffness, toughness and high melting point and it's a very desirable metal for high performance metal.
